Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at during a weekend getaway to explore the coastal areas. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for a fantastic stay. The accommodation was top-notch, with a super comfy bedroom featuring a massive bed that was a dream to sink into after a day of exploring. the shower was great, and the complementary tea, coffee, and snacks were a nice touch that added to the overall experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the locally atmospheric bar at the hotel, where we enjoyed some great food. the live music created a vibrant atmosphere that drew in a very friendly crowd of locals, making us feel right at home. the culinary innovation was evident in the menu, with a focus on using locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that truly captured the essence of the Devon region. When it came to drinks, the wide selection of spirits, including local and artisanal options, was impressive. We also appreciated the well-kept real ales and regular guest ales on offer, providing a taste of the local craft beer scene. In the morning, we indulged in a delicious breakfast meal that included bacon, sausages, eggs, and a choice of coffee or tea. the quality of the food was superb, and the ambiance of the restaurant made for a relaxing start to the day. Overall, our experience at was fantastic, and we will definitely be returning in the future. the combination of great food, cozy accommodations, and friendly service made for a memorable stay that truly captured the spirit of the region.
